Now, I don’t know much about the Phoenix bird except that it’s always catching fire and coming back for more which, come to think of it, suits these folks just fine. Phoenix Moon Films keeps rising from the ashes of yesterday’s popcorn with something fresh, wild, and just a little bit suspicious. They make movies for people who like their stories with a twist of adventure, a pinch of the peculiar, and a whole heap of heart. In short, they remind me of my Aunt Polly: unpredictable, wildly entertaining, and never afraid to chase a raccoon off the porch if it means a better tale.
